4 Double Strength Pots of Freshly Brewed Coffee
(try to avoid flavored
coffees)
2 Pounds Dark Brown Sugar
2 Cups Vermont Maple Syrup
(grade B is preferable, use 21/2 cups if using grade A or Fancy)
1 Half Gallon Vodka
(use your favorite brand)
Combine coffee, brown sugar, & Maple Syrup in a large,
steel pot over low to medium-low heat.
Simmer for 3-4 hours, or until liquid has reduced by 25 - 33 %.
Cool completely, to at least room temperature or less.
Add vodka, mix thoroughly and pour into bottles.
Cap tightly and store in a cool, dry place.
Makes 3-4
liters.
